Atlantic Station. Friday—Saturday, 10am—8pm. Free.

Thousands of USA-made knit basics up to 85% off. American Apparel tees are great for screenprinting a custom design or just wearing plain.

Yacht Rock Revue, Please Please Rock Me

Variety Playhouse. Friday, 9pm. $20.

Atlanta’s own Yacht Rock Revue will be performing this Friday to adoring fans. Yacht Rock covers the smooth sounds of favorites like the Bee Gees, Steely Dan, the Doobies and more. Their popularity is growing, so see them before they conquer the world.

Tango in the Park

Piedmont Park Community Center. Saturday, 11:30am—1pm. $10.

Learn the art of Argentine Tango by watching a spicy professional performance, then pairing off with a partner to practice. As the experts at Tango Rio suggest, you’ll go from “zero to tango.” No experience necessary.

World Cup Viewing Party

Fado Irish Pub. All day Saturday, starting at 7:30 a.m. Free entry, plus deals on food and drink.

The World Cup starts this weekend, launching a month of International soccer madness. Fado Irish Pub will host an all-day viewing party that continues late into the night, with a live DJ spinning at 10. They’ve already given away a free National Team Jersey in exchange for favorite “football” stories from the Pub, so keep a lookout for more giveaways in honor of the Cup.

Washing PAWS for a Cause

Hotel Palomar. Saturday, 11am—2pm. $15/wash.

Bring your dirty pups to Hotel Palomar’s Alliance Patio for an eco-friendly wash. Proceeds benefit the PAWS Atlanta no-kill animal shelter. Vendors will advise about canine health, care and training, and every dog will leave the event with a bag full of promotional products. Refreshments served to pet owners and their four-legged friends.

Second Friday Art Stroll

Castleberry Hill neighborhood. Friday, 7pm—10pm. Free.

For decades Castleberry Hill has been called Atlanta’s best arts district. Go see what all the fuss is about. Be sure to hit Project Pushpin at Castleberry Point and sample bites from the Atlanta Street Food Coalition.

Red Robin & Child Safety Go Hand in Hand

All Atlanta area locations. Through June 13th.

Red Robin has joined forces with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) to raise funds & awareness about child safety. Through June 13, $.50 from every kid’s meal sold will be donated to NCMEC and kid’s receive a free child ID kit.
