Men’s Valentine Cooking Class

TAP’s Super Bowl Party

TAP. Sunday (all day). Free.

Whether your television is too small or you don’t feel like cooking (or cleaning up), there are plenty of good reasons to watch Super Bowl XLV at TAP in the heart of Midtown this Sunday. They’ll be pouring drink specials and featuring a special Super Bowl menu all day long, and if you correctly predict the halftime and final scores of the game, your tab will be comped. With such great deals and a great game day vibe, reservations are strongly recommended.

Orchid Market Weekends

Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Saturday and Sunday, 10am – 4pm. Free.

Featuring gorgeous live orchids from local growers, supplies, expert advice and orchid art, Orchid Market Weekends debuts this weekend and continues the first weekends in March and April. While you’re there be sure to check out the Garden’s current exhibits including Orchid Daze: Liquid Landscapes which features thousands of orchids in full bloom complemented by unique water features.

High Museum of Art: Free Fulton County Admission Day

High Museum of Art. Saturday, 10am – 4pm. Free.

On the first Saturday of every month, the High Museum of Art offers free admission to Fulton County residents. Show proof of residency to get free admission. Also, if you are a student enrolled at a college or university located in Fulton County, you can show your valid college ID to take advantage of this special offer, as well. New exhibits now on display include Toulouse-Lautrec and Friends: The Stein Collection, Delacroix to Picasso: European Prints and Drawings from the High’s Collection, and Fifty Works for Fifty States: The Dorothy and Herb Vogel Collection.

Guster Live at the Tabernacle

Tabernacle. Friday, 8pm. $33.75.

Known for classics such as “Fa Fa” and “Amsterdam,” Guster has been playing together since they met during their college orientation in 1991. Now, you can join their cult following as the alternative rock band performs at one of Atlanta’s oldest live music venues. Don’t miss this show!

Kids’ Valentine Embroidery in a Day

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center. Saturday, 10am – 3pm. $60.

Kids ages 8-12 are invited to learn three basic embroidery stitches in this Valentine’s Day-themed workshop, where they will create their own beaded and stuffed heart pillows in honor of the upcoming holiday. Registration is accepted online, in person, or by phone up until the class begins on Saturday morning.
