Support local crafters and start holiday shopping at the ICE Holiday Shopping Spectacular! Find unique handmade treasures, take your picture at the retro photo booth, shop vintage finds and get your hands dirty with some craft fun courtesy of the Atlanta Institute of Stitches and Crafts! The first 250 attendees both days will get a collectable swag bag!

Celebrate Movember at Mustachio Bashio at Fado Irish Pub. Sport your favorite mustache style for a chance to win or if you are not the type that can grow your own ‘stache, they’ll have one for you to wear at the door. There will be music and great drink specials all night. This event benefits the American Cancer Society and Volunteers Overcoming Poverty.

Garden Lights Holiday Nights
Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Begins Saturday, November 17th, 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Runs nightly through January 5th. $20 adults; $15 child ages 3-12 Thursday – Sundays; $17 adult, $11 child ages 3-12 Monday – Wednesdays. Children under 3 free.
See the Atlanta Botanical Gardens all lit up for the holidays. There are more than 1 million lights within gardens’ 30 acres. Enjoy “Liquid Lights” in the Cascades Garden, the “Starry Night Walk” through the camellias and “Orchestral Orbs,” a light show choreographed to holiday music. This is an enchanting evening that’s fun for the whole family.

Annual Tree Lighting at Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Free.
Celebrate the season all day long with the Lighting of Atlantic Station festival. There will be live music, arts, food and children’s activities during the day and then the tree will be lit at 8:00 followed by a fireworks show.

Tap ‘N’ Run
Neighbor’s Pub. Saturday, 2:00 p.m. $52. 21+.
Tap ‘N’ Run is a road race like no other. This 4K race has 4 beer chug stations on the course, fun costumes and a full beer at the finish line. In addition, all participants will receive a medal that doubles as a bottle opener. Stick around afterwards for the after party in the parking lot of Neighbor’s.

National BBQ Cup
Cumming Fairgrounds. Friday, 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. $10 per person on Friday; $5 per person on Saturday; $5 for 5 tasting tickets. $3 to park.
Get your ‘que on in Cumming this weekend. There will be BBQ contests for both professional and backyard divisions, with cash prizes for the winning teams. Taste what you like and vote for your favorite. In addition, there will be arts and crafts, product demonstrations, live music and a kids zone.
