Atlanta Street Food Festival

Atlanta Street Food Festival

Piedmont Park. Saturday, 12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. $10.50; kids under 12 free.

Make way to Piedmont Park on Saturday for an amazing food experience! Over 15 food trucks will be parked and serving their specialties! Enjoy tunes by local bands. Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chairs-but keep Fido at home. A portion of each tickets sale will benefit the Atlanta Food Bank.

5th Annual Girls Rock Camp ATL Camper Showcase & Silent Auction

Variety Playhouse. Saturday, Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7:30 p.m. $15. All ages.

Come check out Atlanta’s next generation of female rock stars this Saturday at the Variety Playhouse for this year’s Girls Rock ATL Camper Showcase and Silent Auction. Campers form their own band, write their own songs and perform in a showcase of the last day of camp. Proceeds from the show and the auction benefit the organization and future campers. Get ready to say you heard them first and before they were famous!

Attention art fanatics! The O4W is hosting a smash art stroll between 4 galleries. Everyone is invited enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and discover exciting new artists in the heart of Atlanta. This will be a huge night for the arts in Atlanta. You don’t want to miss out!

Botany of Beer

The Botany of Beer

The Indie-Pendent. Saturday, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. $15.

If you enjoy beer but are sick of crowded festivals, try the Botany of Beer for something different.  Julie Jenney from Swarthmore College’s Scott Arboretum will lead a 2-hour event where you will learn about the botanical aspects of different beer styles. In addition, you’ll learn about food pairings and glassware and of course, get to sample some beer!

Bastille Day Festival

Paris on Ponce. Saturday, 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Free.

Come celebrate French liberation right here in Atlanta at the 1st Annual Paris on Ponce Bastille Day Festival. There will be all kinds of French fun including a burlesque show, live music, French films and French food! This promises to be a fabulous fete.

Mooove on over to your local Chick-fil-A this Friday in celebration of Cow Appreciation Day. Dress from “head to hoof” to earn a free meal of your choosing. Wear a mask or partial cow costume and get a free entree of your choice.
