While other “California girls” may prefer flip-flops, singer Katy Perry is making a splash with red rhinestone-covered stilettos. These shoes, which I first noticed on Bit Rebels last week, have a heel that measures 5 3/4 inches tall (with a 1 3/4 inch platform) in order to give better visibility to the Wizard of Oz images beneath the sole. Originally designed for Perry, the stilettos are now available for purchase from Taylorsays. Katy Perry may be first to rock these pumps in the celeb world, but shoes with imprinted soles are nothing new in the promotional products industry.
