I know it is January, but I am already dreaming of spring. And we here in Atlanta are expected to reach the upper 60’s later this week! What bliss! Springtime and golf go hand and hand. This past week the PGA Tour hit Hawaii. Check out the latest PGA news here. It’s very cool to see what Nike, Adidas and Callaway gear the pros are sporting.
Whatever the climate on the green, you and your brand will want to look sharp for 2013. Check out these new arrivals from Nike Golf. With Nike’s DRI-Fit fabric technology and on-trend color choices, the recipient will be comfortable and look stylish on and off the course.
I feel like an early episode of Game of Thrones everytime I say it, but it’s undeniable: “Winter is coming”.
Though it’s bound to be a less ominous season than Ned Stark meant, unless all those coldest-winter-ever predictions are true, mornings and evenings here in Atlanta are starting to get chilly. As much as I love summer and record high temperatures, there is one silver lining to fall and winter- it’s officially sweater weather!
As new products for 2013 trickle in, I sift through them and select my best-loved garments to feature for the upcoming season. I am happy to report that I am really digging these Chambray Dress shirts. You might have seen the trend in retail for the past few years, and finally someone has got it right in the corporate apparel industry!
When selecting new products to add to our site for autumn, I came across the Ladies Crosshatch Ruffle Easy Care Shirt. I was very surprised to see a bit of a more fashionable style for corporate apparel. This blouse has a feminine feel to it with the ruffled y-shape neckline, front and back darts and pearlized buttons. The ¾ length sleeves will allow you to accessorize nicely with your favorite watch or stack of bracelets. The Ladies Crosshatch Blouse is made from 60/40 cotton/poly making it washable. Say goodbye to the dry cleaner!
This blouse would be a great uniform choice for outside sales representatives and women in the hospitality or finance industries. A tonal embroidery would look great on the chest or cuff. Available in five beautiful shades, you are sure to find one that matches your brand. My favorite one is the Grape Harvest; this perfect shade of purple would look great with a pair of grey trousers or a tweed skirt.
If you work in an office that is anything like mine, you are freezing with out a sweater or blazer. Even though it is pushing 98 degrees outdoors, I find myself dreaming about cozy sweaters, layering and fall (to help me cope with the a/c chill). I have collected some of my favorite cover-ups that are office appropriate. These styles can up your cool quotient and keep you warm at your second home.
The Bella Unisex Triblend Cardigan: This cover-up can work for both sexes. Made from a poly/cotton/rayon blend, the knit is soft and cozy. Think of this as a t-shirt that has fashioned into a cardigan! I recommend embroidery on the chest.
While the new year often inspires people to hit the gym and make a commitment to a healthier way of life, by the end of July, your motivation to work out might be slightly waning. It happens to the best of us. But one gym, Jazzercise, has found a way to inspire their members to keep coming to the gym all year long. And how are they doing this? By offering an attendance game where the prizes are promotional products.
I have a bit of a confession to make: I am addicted…. to hats. From your run of the mill baseball caps to knit beanies, I now own enough variations that I’ve run out of shelf space for my chapeaus and my boyfriend now understands that “borrowing” one of his hats strongly implies that he’ll never get it back. Fortunately for me, though rather unfortunate for our shared closet space, Pinnacle Promotions keeps my addiction well fed no matter what season we’re in.
Now that summer 2012 is fully underway, it is time to think about clothing that you can wear on vacation. I am fully into the nautical trend this year, and love the look for men and women alike. One of my favorite nautical staples is the stripe. I think stripes are classically cool and can be flattering when styled right.
The mini stripe is a pattern that can be worn by just about anyone. Since the stripes are subtle, they will not enhance any flaws. So, you can be on trends wearing stripes, but in a tasteful and forgiving way. I love these new tees; they have the right amount of classic and edge. A one-color logo screen print would look great on these!
The Men’s mini stripe notch tee: Made of 100% ring spun cotton, this tee is so soft to the touch! Choose from 3 classic stripe combinations. Love the contrast tipping around the v-neck too!
I was a wee little one when neon clothing and accessories were all the rage in the 1980’s, but I still got on the trend bandwagon with OP (Ocean Pacific) jams and a paint-splattered tee. I though I was pretty cool, considering that my trendsetting Grandmother had the matching ensemble. The 90’s were not much better, giving us another regurgitation of neon, worn by ravers and club kids. Glow sticks, makeup, glitter and hair dye were doused with neon hues. It seemed the more the better.
