College Graduation and Promotional Products
Today is a bittersweet day for me as it marks the two-year anniversary since the day I graduated from college at Emory University. A few vivid memories stand out in my mind from that day – one of which involves a promotional product:
1 – My roommate and I arrived a few minutes late, and mistakenly lined up with the business school graduates for a few minutes before realizing we were in the wrong place.
2 – The announcer mispronounced my first name and it was Hy-mee, who crossed the stage and shook the President’s hand.
3 – It was unusually cold for May in Atlanta and my mother was forced to purchase a custom blanket embroidered with the school’s name as they had sold out of sweatshirts.
I still have the blanket today. A parting gift from my four years at Emory.
