Promotional Pet Products: Good for Bizarre Holidays too!

Today is a special holiday.  A special holiday if you are a dog, that is.  You didn’t know?  Today, February 23rd, is International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day.  If you’re a dog, chances are, this holiday is the highlight of your year.  (Also, if you’re a dog and you’re reading this blog post, chances are you’re pretty much destined for greatness.)

According to Petcentric, dog treats have been around since Roman times. Back in those days, dog owners would likely give their dogs a piece of stale bread for a treat. By the 19th century, dog biscuits were made mostly to give the dogs energy, so in addition to grain, they included vegetables, meat and bone meal.

In the 1850’s a man named James Spratt patented the first dog biscuit and the rest is history! (Or dogstory rather).

Dogs and their owners alike will appreciate promotional pet products. Unlike dog biscuits, which are gobbled up in 2.5 seconds, promotional pet products will last years upon years.

So give your dog a biscuit today, especially if he can do this (but even if he can’t):
