Promotional Products for the Band
I’m a pretty big fan of Dave Matthews Band. As I was sitting at my desk, listening to their new album and thinking about what I could blog about, it came to me: blog about DMB. Duh.
I’ve been a fan of the band since I was in high school and I’ve seen them live too many times to count. (Seriously, I don’t know how many times; I’d say somewhere in the 30+ range.) While the music is always the main focus, at each DMB concert, there are always tons of promotional products available for sale and judging by the long lines of people waiting to buy said products, it’s a big hit.
In addition to stickers, which is what the above pictured image is, they also sell lots of other merchandise including t-shirts:
and countless other products. No matter if your band is selling out large arenas or playing tiny little coffeehouses or even your own garage (everyone’s got to start out somewhere), putting the band logo on promotional products is a great way to get your name out there. It’s great for name recogntion and you never know, one day, that old t-shirt that you bought for $5 just might be a collector’s item.
