Let’s meet our February Fan of the Month: Wilkinson Supply Company!
1. Tell us a little more about your company.
Wilkinson has worked to become a premiere source for plumbing supplies in The Carolinas for over 45 years. A local, family-owned company, now in its second generation, we are one of the largest, most respected plumbing supply houses in the region. About 20 years ago, Wilkinson’s decorative kitchen and bath showrooms were born, providing over 8,000 square feet of display area across our locations in Raleigh, Durham and Carrboro, NC. Wilkinson warehouses comprise over 100,000 square feet of space and contain over 6,000 stocked items, including toilets, sinks, decorative faucets, tubs, appliances, tank and tankless water heaters, and much more.
2. What is your favorite promotional product?
The oversized contractor calendar is a hit with our customers and staff. Wilkinson works with many members of the design and build industry, including contractors and builders. The ability to quickly see a day or month worth of work for scheduling purposes is something our customers values, and we’re glad to be able to provide that tool for them.
3. What kind of promotional products would you like to use in the future?
(1) Water bottles. As a plumbing supply house, we have access to the latest plumbing technology including bottle filling stations that fit over water fountains. In the warm, North Carolina temperatures staying hydrated is very important. We’d like to help our customers stay hydrated while out on the job with a high-quality water bottle they can fill when they visit at our locations. (2) Pocket lights The great thing about Pinnacle Promotions is that they offer products and tools that folks really want to use. Pocket flashlights would be one of those items for our contractor customers. Having to look under a home, up into ceilings, and under floor boards requires a little light, so we know these are something our customers would just love.
4. Tell us a fun fact about yourself or your company!
There is an award-winning showroom WAY over in the western part of North Carolina (4 hours from our headquarters location in Raleigh, NC) called Salon Blue Ridge. Not many people realize that Salon Blue Ridge is actually part of the Wilkinson family business. The expansive, luxury kitchen and bath showroom is run by the original owner’s granddaughter.
