Customized Apparel: A Custom Imprint’s Worth a Thousand Words.
So you may have heard – I mean, maybe – that Lindsay Lohan’s jail sentence began yesterday. I’ve been hearing people voice their opinions on the matter everywhere from the farmers market to the office break room, and I have to admit, it is a great conversation starter – but definitely a loaded one. There’s not really any way to know what people think about controversial topics like Lindsay’s incarceration until you ask… unless, of course, they save you some time by donning some customized apparel.
I was looking at a slideshow of photos from Lindsay’s big send-off yesterday and couldn’t help but notice how many of her fans had shown up with custom hats, t-shirts, and signs to demonstrate their support. They were, quite literally, wearing their hearts on their sleeves (and foreheads), which helped them seem more like a unified group with a purpose and less like an emotional mob. Their promotional products allowed fans to quickly and easily identify each other and come together to let Lindsay and the media know how they felt – while also letting non-supporters know to steer clear.
