Kim’s Product Pick of the Week: Custom Projects

A little while ago, I blogged about my favorite lunch kits. In that blog – and in Megan’s even before that – we wrote about the super cute BUILT sandwich bag.

I’m still in love with that piece. And I love the BUILT brand. So I probably don’t have to tell you how excited I was the other day when, while browsing the BUILT retail site, I stumbled across these adorable kid’s sandwich bags and lunch bags.

It was love at first sight.

Sadly these cuties are not promo products. While it practically breaks my heart to not offer this on our site, it opens the door to another topic that is worth mentioning: custom promotional products.

A really important thing to remember when planning for your events and promotional marketing budget, is that a little money can go a long way with a custom project. I think it’s easy to get scared of the idea of creating a custom product from start to finish. Typically these orders are higher volume and take a bit longer to process. In the end, though, creating a custom order can both save you money and provide a one-of-a-kind promo.

And the best part? You may think it’s the money saving. But actually, it’s working with specialists that truly love this process. Finding a team that can be a resource, guide and friend from beginning to end is key to a seamless project.

So with that said, creating an adorable bag of your own is never out of the question. You dream it up, and a product specialist can help you make it happen.
