Perfect, Personal, Promotional Drinkware

So anyone that knows me knows my cup. Insulated, brightly colored and with a 16oz liquid capacity. It is my cup. I have a particular – possibly unhealthy – relationship with said cup. It’s one of those items that you find. You buy. You absolutely LOVE. And you can never. Ever. Find again.

I call it priceless. I’m telling you. I couldn’t even find it on Ebay. I’ve looked everywhere anticipating the inevitable day when I break it, lose it or some other travesty befalls it. Now unfortunately it is getting up there in age, and I am progressively wondering when its last day will come.

So in preparation for that day, I’ve begun my new search for my next “perfect” piece of drinkware. I’m finding that there are in fact many others out there that can, and will, fit the bill. One of the most innovative tumblers that I have come across in my search is the Spirit tumbler. It looks just like a disposable cup with a straw and top that you would get with your to-go order, except it is made out of clear, insulated acrylic.

Colorful, unique and nearly spill-proof, the Spirit tumbler is a great warm-weather alternative to traditional travel mugs. Perfect for traveling with your icy-cold beverages, tumblers keep your drinks cold with a minimal risk for spills.

Whether your favorite is a traditional tumbler, a desk mug, a ceramic coffee mug or aluminum bottle, it is easier than you may think to find a new favorite!

Promotional Products for the Restaurateur… Or For Your Office Break Room!

Thank you, Swanson, for selling the first TV dinner this month (September 10th, to be exact) in 1953. It wasn’t technically the first ready-made meal on a tray, but Swanson was the manufacturer of TV dinners that most successfully captured the market for convenience foods.

My lack of culinary prowess leads me to rely on microwave meals more often than is probably healthy. In college, poor eating habits are justified (well, somewhat) by busy schedules and inadequate kitchen space, but I no longer have a good excuse for indulging in frozen entrees. Am I lazy? Maybe a little bit. But I like to think I am eating a dish that is far tastier than anything I would have been able to whip up otherwise. I occasionally opt for a more upscale “TV dinner” dining experience by transferring my food from an unappetizing container to an attractive plate or bowl. I noticed many of my coworkers partaking in this seemingly odd ritual in our company’s break room, and upon trying it myself, I truly did notice a difference in the way my food tasted and the satisfaction I felt after consuming it!

To create the illusion of a fine dining atmosphere in your office’s otherwise mundane break room or cafeteria, why not invest in slightly more substantial custom imprinted paper napkins than the solid colored ones found in a grocery store? The logo and message featured on the napkins can subtly remind your employees, customers, and/or guests of the professionalism with which your brand approaches even the most minuscule of details. Custom napkins are inexpensive, come in a wide array of sizes and thicknesses, and are sure to impress their end users.

Another promotional item that may surprise frequenters of your company’s dining area is a pepper mill. No restaurant dining experience would be complete without fresh ground pepper to season a gourmet meal, so why not spoil lunch room diners with the same courtesy? Microwave dinners can benefit from flavor enhancing seasonings, just like restaurant or home-cooked meals!

Lastly, to remedy one of the worst problems associated with lunch or snack breaks, what office dining area would be complete without promotional mints? Most restaurants leave a container filled with logo imprinted mints at the host stand, and in that same fashion, Pinnacle Promotions, keeps a stash of custom imprinted miniature boxes of mints handy at all times to eliminate the risk of bad breath. Everyone should be able to enjoy their meal without worrying about the leftover scent of their food staying on their breath throughout the duration of the workday. By keeping a bowl filled with promotional mints or gum in or near the cafeteria, workers and guests can take the breath freshening items with them on the go, effectively keeping your brand in the forefront of their minds whenever they crave minty fresh breath!

Whether your employees and clients are food connoisseurs or convenience food aficionados like myself, allow them the opportunity to savor their meals in the workplace by offering them Food & Drink promotional products from Pinnacle Promotions.

Serving Up Promotional Products – and Tennis Champs – in Norcross

Destination-Europe-Kim-ClijstersBelgian tennis player Kim Clijsters won her second United States Open title this weekend, defeating challenger Caroline Wozniack of Denmark in the woman’s singles finals on the 24,000 seat Arthur Ashe stadium, not having even played there since her first victory in 2005. But one of the other most notable achievements of the tournament this year was the success of 17-year-old Melanie Oudin, who trained at the Racquet Club of the South in Norcross, Georgia – which happens to be less than 5 miles away from the Pinnacle Promotions office! Only her second time to play in the US Open, Oudin defeated top seated players Elena Dementieva, Maria Sharapova, and Nadia Petrova, to become the youngest American tennis player to compete in the quarter-finals since Serena Williams in 1999. Though she lost in the quarter-finals to Caroline Wozniacki, her overall performance in the tournament and her fighting determination that enabled her to advance each round after being down after the first set in three straight matches has made her an overnight tennis sensation with the talent and will to become a champion.

In honor of Miss Oudin of Norcross, today’s blog is going to feature – you guessed it – promotional tennis items. At Pinnacle Promotions we have more products relating to tennis than you could imagine! From custom imprinted tennis balls and jersey tennis polo shirts, to tennis can koozies and tennis ball stress relievers, tennis players and fans can choose from an assortment of tennis items for any marketing campaign.

Marketing to Make Millions

MoneyBlogNewzI was watching one of my new favorite shows, How’d You Get So Rich, with Joan Rivers the other night and I realized I must be doing something wrong.

The premise of the show entails Joan Rivers examining the immense wealth accumulated by regular folks that hit it rich with the creation of a product or company. While watching this episode, I couldn’t help but wonder what it is that makes a product so revolutionary, so desirable, that the inventor is made a multi-millionaire almost instantly? How is it that such simple ideas. Such basic, never-take-a-second-glance products can make a regular person super, ridiculously rich!?

I guess the most obvious reason that creative genius hasn’t struck me is that I’m not an inventor. I don’t look at the ordinary and plot a faster, prettier, more effective product. But trust me. Now I’m trying my best to. Now don’t get me wrong. I love my day job. But who wouldn’t want to at least be able to afford a shiny new Italian sports car, or a sparkling clean new mansion? The world of the wealthy seems so attractive and easy from the outside…

Okay. Now back to reality. I may never be a multi-millionaire. And honestly I don’t really need to be – nor do I really even want to be. But I can’t help but be fascinated by the way some people build their fortunes.

There is one thing that every one of these people has in common. They have built a recognizable brand. Whether it is a clothing label, an inventive toy or a redesigned gadget, these people have marketed and built their brand/product to a level that is almost unreachable.

Take a tip from these marketing geniuses and build your brand. Unexpected and unique promotional products, giveaways and stylish apparel can all be great ways to get your advertising message out into the public. No matter what your line of business entails, promotional marketing and public visibility are key to your success.

September 11th: National Day of Service and Remembrance

11-art

Artwork from Art for Heart, an exhibition of paintings by nearly 200 children, from toddlers to teenagers, who lost loved ones in the attacks on New York City's World Trade Center.

On September 11, 2001, a terrible tragedy occurred in our nation. The 9/11 series of attacks left thousands of innocent victims and mass destruction in its wake. The aftermath of this horrible disaster affected not only the thousands of people directly involved in the attacks, but billions more, as family members and loved ones of the victims, the American population, and even the rest of the world continue to grieve.

Despite the immense pain and hurt inflicted on the American public, some citizens have taken it upon themselves to ensure that the lives lost were not in vain. This year marks the first federally recognized National Day of Service and Remembrance, a holiday which materialized in response to the perseverance and efforts of the 9/11 community and Congress, as well as thousands of organizations and support groups around the country.

The 9/11 non-profit organization called MyGoodDeed spearheaded the campaign to make this significant date in history a national day of remembrance. The organization’s website, https://www.911day.org/, was launched with the goal of “rekindling the spirit of unity that swept the nation in the wake of the attacks,” says cofounder David Paine. After losing a loved one in the 9/11 attacks, Paine and his friend Jay Winuk established the organization to remember the incredible feats and sacrifices made by so many Americans in the face of tragedy.

Yes, there are countless ways that you can use promotional products as part of non-profit and philanthropic campaigns year round, but why not take action today to make a difference in the world around you? From picking up trash around your office, to volunteering at a local food bank or homeless shelter, take it upon yourself to be a good Samaritan and dedicate a few minutes of your time to give back to our country in return for all the opportunities that it has made possible for you.

I stumbled across the 9/11 Day widget at https://www.911day.org. It is a clever (and easy!) way to share and obtain ideas about how to recognize the National Day of Service and Remembrance, and I hope that you, each and every one of our loyal blog readers, decide to respect and honor the sentiments of this national holiday in your own unique and special way.

Presenting Pinnacle’s Lyrics Lounge: Promotional Products Inspired by Music

Today featuring: No Rain by Blind Melon – the band’s breakthrough single of their debut album, Blind Melon, released in 1992.

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin’ the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two (1)
and speak my point of view
But it’s not sane, It’s not sane

I just want some one to say to me
I’ll always be there when you wake
Ya know I’d like to keep my cheeks dry today (2)
So stay with me and I’ll have it made

And I don’t understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there’s no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake (3)
And it rips my life away, but it’s a great escape
escape……escape……escape……

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
ya don’t like my point of view
ya think I’m insane
Its not sane……it’s not sane

Promotional Products to Bring Out the Inner Musician in Each of Us

_e.t-Davies-Symphony-HallSeptember happens to be Classical Music Month. As a longtime flautist (I began playing in the fourth grade and continued to pursue my passion for music throughout college), I have always been a fan of classical music and famous classical performers like Yo Yo Ma and Bocelli. I don’t know how I would have made it through college without the comforting sounds of classically trained musicians wafting through my headphones during late-night study sessions!

If you are looking for unique promotional products to distribute to musicians or loyal followers of the music world, sometimes the best product choices are also the most unlikely. During the time I spent developing my musical talent, I found many promotional products to be extremely useful. I never attended a Wind Ensemble rehearsal without a pencil and highlighter in my flute case to make necessary revisions and notes on my sheet music according to the conductors’ instructions. My home or dorm room practice sessions always made use of media players or speakers to amplify professional recordings of pieces that I was currently working on, and whenever I was stuck without a music stand to display my sheet music, I would look to handy desktop items like portfolios or note holders to prop up the pages. I also never left home for a rehearsal without a canvas tote bag to keep my sheet music, metronome, and tuner accessible at all times.

Both of my former flute teachers played in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and encouraged me to listen to recordings and learn from world-renowned musicians like flautist James Galway. They would always give me CD recordings of performances by classical musicians for holiday and birthday gifts, and my collection of classical recordings has grown to include hundreds of discs. I store many of them in CD cases, but my favorites have earned a spot in my CD visor that I keep in my car. Don’t get me wrong; I listen to country, rap, rock, and pop music as well, but every once in awhile I find myself in the mood for some soothing classical performances to escape from the realities of horrendous traffic and lousy Atlanta drivers.

Promote your brand by giving away custom imprinted products to bring out the inner musician in each of your clients and employees!

Also, make sure to check out my current favorite musician, David Garrett. Not only is he a Juilliard graduate who holds the world record for the most notes played on the violin in one second (13!) during his rendition of Flight of the Bumblebee, but he has integrated incredible covers of songs by Michael Jackson and AC/DC into his extensive repertoire. See him breaking the world record here:

Or, if you are more intrigued by his ability to transcribe Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” into a violin performance, take a look at that video below:

Honor Your Workers This Labor Day With Promotional Gifts

Robert Couse-BakerThis coming Monday, Americans around the nation will grill hamburgers and hotdogs at neighborhood barbecues, play water sports at the lake, and maybe see some firework displays – all in honor of Labor Day. Often regarded by Americans as the symbolic end of summer – the last long weekend of the season before autumn begins and those long summer days begin to fade – it sometimes seems as if this holiday means little more than just a day off work, or school, or of course the beginning of the NFL and college football seasons. Traditionally, however, Labor Day is meant to be a celebration of much more than that, outlined in the first proposal of the holiday in the late 1800s as a day to exhibit “the strength and esprit de corps of the trade and labor organizations.”

Coming off the heels of the American Industrial Revolution that spanned the mid to late 19th century, the average American worker endured 12-hour days, 7 days a week, to make a basic living. The use of child labor and harsh working conditions were also prominent during that time. As workers sought an outlet to express their demands for better working environments and a better quality of life, unions developed and held parades to voice their concerns, the first of which took place on September 5, 1882. Recognized as the very first Labor Day, ten thousand workers marched from city hall to Union Square in New York City to honor the workers of America and to vocalize their workplace issues. As years passed, more states began to hold these parades, and finally, in 1894, Congress passed an act declaring the first Monday in September to be the legal holiday known as Labor Day.

Honor your workers this Labor Day by giving them promotion gifts to show your gratitude for all their hard work. Whether it’s a crystal engraved award, an executive pen set, or a simple scented candle, they will be sure to appreciate the recognition.

Think Pink!

It’s that time of year again. The days are getting shorter, the sun seems softer and the breeze is getting cooler. As summer winds down and we enter into the fall, its time to think about the fall season and all of the events it brings.

One of the things closest to my heart is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each October, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other non-profits hold annual walks and fundraising drives to raise funds and awareness of the life-threatening disease that impacts nearly 200,000 women each year.

This October, show your support in the fight against breast cancer with pink promotional products. Does your company attend an annual breast cancer walk? Outfit your team in pink branded apparel. Not only will you be showing your participation in the event, but you’ll be promoting your company as a brand that cares.

Want to raise extra money for your charity of choice? Sell branded pink products before the event, or even at the event if rules allow. From tumblers and keychains to apparel and tote bags, selling pink promotional gear is a great way to earn last minute donations. With so many inexpensive, unique pink items out there, you can afford to have fun with your promotion.

As October quickly approaches, don’t forget to shop for all your pink supplies. Demonstrate your support in the battle against breast cancer with pink promotional products.

Think pink and join the fight against breast cancer!
